ABOUT US
Ongerup Caravan Park is centrally located between Perth and Esperance and between Kalgoorlie and Albany in WA’s Great Southern region. Ongerup is a small farming-based community that is nestled between the Stirling Range & Fitzgerald River National Parks and the home of the Yongergnow Malleefowl Centre.
Ongerup Caravan Park is the perfect spot for a relaxing stopover before continuing on with your travels and the ideal base to explore the surrounding area. The pet friendly park offers travellers camping and caravan sites as well as onsite accommodation. Situated just off the main highway, the quiet and peaceful park with lovely views across the surrounding countryside is easily accessed by all sized caravans and RV’s.
There are two onsite vans available and a range of powered and un-powered sites suitable for tent campers, caravans, motor-homes and big rigs. They have drive through sites too if you don’t want to unhitch.
The large gum trees provide shaded areas and there are plenty of spots in the sun to make use of your solar. The amenities are clean and well maintained with all the facilities listed below.
A feature of the park is the in-house camp kitchen, dining and lounge room area where you will feel like you’re back at home. Situated in the house, you will enjoy the cosy fireplace on those cold winter nights and relaxing in front of the TV catching up on the news or your favourite shows. If you’re travelling without a van or want a night or two out of the tent Ongerup Caravan Park also offer clean and comfortable shared accommodation with full access to house camp kitchen, lounge, dining, wood fireplace, television, laundry facilities, hot showers, toilets and BBQ area. There is a children’s playground less than 2 minutes walk from the park to keep the kids happy and a general store, tyre service, post office and the Ongerup Hotel are all close by and within walking distance. We look forward to welcoming all campers to our tranquil park.
